Adjustable quill type high rise stem. Nice upgrade if you are tired of leaning over and staring at the road!! Sit up and see the world!! For years bike companies have made us lean over and suffer the pain. This stem will get you up again. Beware, you may have to get new brake and derailleur cables. Look under MTB cables to find new cables if your old ones won't be long enough to reach the new stem height. This stem will raise the handle bars height of your bike about 6". By the way, a quill type stem is the type of stem that inserts into the fork of your bike, there is one other type called a threadless type that mounts around the stearer tube of your bikes fork, so make sure you need a quill type.
